Amazing Leave In Hair Conditioner At Home!

Looking for a way to revamp your hair this Summer? This trick has become a lifesaver after my hair has been overworked from photo shoots and fashion shows. When you’re hair is dried out from over curling, flat ironing or blow drying, this formula will help restore shine and bounce!

2 tablespoons lemon juice

2 teaspoons olive oil

Mix together and slather all over your hair, paying extra focus to your ends which are most likely more damaged. Put a shower cap over your hair and go to sleep. When you wake up your hair will feel totally restored and full of life. Make sure you don’t get this on your pillowcase, or nice linens. A shower cap is important here! If you have longer hair and this mixture is not enough try doubling it. This works great on color treated hair too!

  6. Aloha,
Wont the lemon strip your hair? I have dark Brown hair and isn’t that what my sister used to put more Blonde highlights in her hair?

    • Nathali says:

Lemon will only lighten hair if combined with heat with a higher concentration of mostly or only lemon juice. Mixed with an oil will cause the outermost layer of your hair (the cuticle) to contract and help lock in all the moisture and give off a great shine.

  7. love this tip! olive oil is beyond moisturizing and I’ve been using lemon juice to add a beautiful sheen for years!
